This type of visa is intended for so-called modern nomads – foreign tourists who combine travel and work remotely. The new visa regime takes into account the international experience of more than 50 countries. This is a new category of visa which is issued from 17 November 2024.
The visa can be obtained by persons who have a permanent income from foreign sources. A multiple-entry visa is issued for a period of up to one year.
The visa is issued at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of an invitation from a local company upon presentation of:
- bank statements for the past 6 months, confirming a stable monthly income of over 3,000 US dollars;
- on a tax declaration issued by the competent authority of the country of citizenship;
- up to a document confirming the absence of a criminal record, issued by an authorized body of the country of citizenship or permanent residence;
- medical insurance that covers the requested for the entire period of validity.
